Checking Device Network Connectivity

1. A Wi-Fi or Cellular network connection is required to send orders, returns, tag requests and to refresh your catalog. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi by going into the settings app and then checking if the Wi-Fi is set to on and also connected to a nearby Wi-Fi network.

FOR iOS 6 USERS:

Note that the Wi-Fi toggle has to be turned on and that Wi-Fi connections with the lock icon next to their Wi-Fi signal require a password.

FOR iOS 7 USERS:

Note that the Wi-Fi toggle has to be turned on and that Wi-Fi connections with the lock icon next to their Wi-Fi signal require a password.

2.  Once you have verified that your Wi-Fi setting is set to the "On" position and connected to your desired Wi-Fi network, please check the strength of your connection in the status bar located on the top left of the screen. The more bars you see, the stronger the connection is (If you have only have 1 bar, please move to a spot where the signal is stronger). Your signal will be stronger the closer you are to the source of the internet (Mi-Fi, router, etc.).

3. Check to ensure your Wi-Fi is working by opening the Weather application.

FOR IOS 6 USERS: Once of the Weather App is opened, if the internet is working, it should update automatically to the current date and time. To make sure, check the bottom of the screen; make sure it says "Updated [Today's Date] [Time]."

FOR iOS 7 USERS: After opening the Weather app, you'll have to click on the list icon located at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and it'll display one or more locations with their respective temperature on the right hand side. Above the location, there should be a time. If the time on the Weather app match the time that's displayed on the top of your iPod, your date and time are correct. To further verify that your Wi-Fi connection is updated, you can tap the "Weather Channel" or "YAHOO Weather" options below the locations. It should load the web page fully; if the web page doesn't completely, the internet connection does not work.

If the Weather app is updating, but displaying the wrong date or time, go to the "Settings" app. Then locate "General" and proceed to Date & Time. Make sure you have toggled on the "Set Automatically" option or that the Time Zone selected is correct.

Please Note: A stable internet connection is suggested for sending orders and refreshing catalogs. An interrupted Wi-Fi connection can cause a corrupt catalog download requiring the user to uninstall iUNFI or cause an order to not be sent.
