Charging iUNFI-Provided Hardware

Ensuring that all hardware intended to be used with iUNFI are properly charged can help resolve many issues, such as the scanner not producing a laser, connection issues with a user's iPod, iPhone, or other device, among various other complications. 

**Note: If you received the full subsidized device, you should have two charging cables (one for the scanner and one for the iPod)**

Linea Pro Scanner

You can charge your Linea Pro Scanner as is with your iPod docked with the scanner via the scanner's black USB cord. This charges both the iPod and the scanner simultaneously, but can take more time. The charging dock is on the bottom of the scanner shown here:

For 4g Scanner/iPod:

For 5g iPod/Scanner:

Bluetooth Scanner
To charge your Bluetooth scanner, utilize the micro-USB charging cord provided. Plug into the charging port on the bottom of the scanner. The LED will stop flashing once the charging is completed.

How to monitor the charge of UNFI-provided hardware

For Linea Pro Scanners:

Once charging, the strip at the bottom of the scanner located next to the scanner's charging port should indicate the approximate charge level. One light indicates a small charge of 25% or less. Two lights indicate an approximate 50% charge. On the 4G iPod device, three lights will indicate a full charge, whereas on the 5G device, three lights will indicate a 75% charge and four lights will indicate a full charge. 


For Apple Devices:

Once charging, the battery indicator in the top right-hand corner of the screen of your iOS device will indicate the approximate charge. 


For Bluetooth Scanner

Due to the limited interface of the Bluetooth scanner, there is no method for externally determining the device's charge. The battery should last for approximately 10 hours of 10,000 barcode scans.
